Hi, Thank for asking. In my opinion you should take social skill training sessions for your child with a psychologist. It is usually taken in groups to enhance social skills for such children. You may try fading approach for his anxiety. First try sitting on his bed while he sleeps in his room. Then try sitting away from bed in his room while he sleeps. Then stand at the door of his room. Lastly stand out side his room while he sleeps. Also psychological counselling for separation anxiety may help. Is he on any medication for ADHD? He may benefit with stimulant medications like Methylphenidate and escitalopram for anxiety. As these are prescription drugs please consult a developmental paediatrician or a child psychiatrist. I hope I have helped you.
