Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries I can understand your concern. He is 6 years old, have ADHD and is taking Intunive or Guanfacine and Clonidine. Both are alpha agonist drugs. Even on medicines he has persisting symptoms like poor focus, difficult learning, abnormal behaviour etc. In my opinion as medicines are not working proper so there is need to re-evaluate and to add some good medicines. Attenterol, Risperidone etc medicines can help. These medicines will improve focus and his behaviour become stabilised. Apart from this stimulants like Amphetamines are also good options.
