Suggest Treatment After Analyzing X Ray Report
Hi Doc, I need help with my xray result that shows I have PTB right clavicular and left upper lobe but my sputum tests shows negative, what s the best course of action? I ve been waiting for an update whether I will take medications or not since I need to get a fit to work clearance soon as possible. Thanks. Jud

X-ray findings doesn't confirm tuberculosis.Your report suggests lesions in right clavicular and left upper lobe.It may be due to active infection.
It is important to rule out infective etiology.
You need further tests to confirm tuberculosis.You need routine hemogram,mantoux test.PCR can be done if needed.PCR will confirm tuberculosis.
