Suggest Treatmdnt For Flare Up Of Papular Pustular Rosacea

I have papular pustular rosacea and I have been taking Doxycycline 40 mg daily for a month. I was very hopeful that I would be seeing great results…. it is a bit better…. but I continue to flare and burn and itch and have huge flushing purple moments especially when I speak in front of people. My job is very stressfull but I need to work 1 more year…. I am socially embarrassed! Please help!!! my upper eyelids are now swelling and have been very dry.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

I got through your problem, it's acne grade III, oral medication does not respond in this case. My advice is to consult a good dermatologist. He will guide in the right way. Here it needs the removal of pus and Microdermabrasion, to remove the debris. After procedure follows Isotretinoin with topical sunscreen enriched with moisturizer. Night maintaining by using anti-acne-prone creams.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Puvvula Kishore Kumar, Dermatologist
