I LOVED the person i was..sometimes i would be shy but as soon as i broke out of that its like i could not shut up..but now when i force myself to talk its like my mind is panicing..illl try to say something funny but it just sounds like im trying to hard..but there are times when im that person from 3 years ago making people laugh but sure enough my anxiety pops up again..I feel like i have ran out of things to sayy...and when im not being funny people dont like me or we just wont talk..i feel like being funny is my only good side people like even though my other side is just a Kind, insecure person...i take depression and anxiety pills for it but i dont know how this should properly be treated.. i want to take care of this Demon of a problem..please help..thank you

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings and sense of well-being. This depression, if lasts for a short time, could be due to disappointment (you had this problem). But if these symptoms recur, long standing, frequent then it can be termed as depressive disorder. Usually disappointment converts into depressive disorder due to obsessive thoughts. In your case just the same thing happened. you went deeper into the problem and became obsessed. The depression symptoms became frequent. Now you surely need psychiatric treatment. Consult a psychiatrist.
