Suggest Tests To Diagnose Diseases With High Eosinophilis

My eosinophils level has been high almost double for last 7 years and managed by Telefast 180 mg/day but never came to normal. Allergy test result unspecified. What are blood test I need to do to reach to a proper diagnosis. My family physician advised to consult hematologist. I am 62 with type-2 diabetic and hypertension but both are controlled by medication

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have high eosinophil count. There are many causes of high eosinophil count. They are allergy, hypersensitivity, asthma, parasitic infection, etc.
If you have already gone through allergy test. Then you should search for other cause. Go for chest x ray, look for any patasitic infection in blood. You may have hypersensitivity problems. So take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
