Suggest Tests To Confirm Pregnancy Despite Having Positive HPT Result

Hi, I'm 18 and I had unprotected sex two weeks ago but I took the plan b pill within 24 hours and i am suppose to get my period by tomorrow but I've been having pregnancy symptoms so I took an at home pregnancy test and it came back positive...is it possible that my hormone levels caused it to be positive ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Normally pregnancy chance after taking a plan B pill are very less. A plan B pill prevents pregnancy by inhibiting implantation of fertilized egg on the uterus. It is 95% successful if taken within 24 hours of having sex. But its your bad luck that you had failure, even taking within 24 hours of having sex.
As your pregnancy tests are positive, which most probably means that you are pregnant. Taking plan pill or hormones levels cannot cause false positive pregnancy test.
You could do a repeat urine pregnancy test. For further confirmation, you may get blood tests for serum beta-hCG and also get a trans-vaginal sonogram. If you are pregnant & you does not want to continue your pregnancy, you should consult a gynaecologist & can undergo an abortion under her guidance
