Suggest Remedy To Soften Stools And Reduce Pain During Bowel Movements

i'm an amateur natural bodybuilder. I'm on a strict diet at the moment consisting of very low fat and carbs and high protein. The problem is that when I visit the lavatory, my stools feel incredibly large and are extremely painful when they pass through causing bleeding... is there anything I can do to soften them or otherwise ease the pain?
