General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum .
As you describe, it appears to be the rise in the B.P, causing the vomiting sensation, and drowsiness.
He could not lye down for longer time, due to the dyspnoea due to the chest infection, or cardiac failure due to the hypertension.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms, increase the dose of anti hypertensive,by titration, theophylline, cifixime, and cough formula.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
