Suggest Remedy For Whitish Green Pimple Head On Leg
Woke up yesterday with a whitish green pimple head on my leg. Popped it and a little puss came out. Today when I woke up it hurt and burned. Also is very tender and has a big red soar mark around it. It also burned and hurt if I walk, especially after I touch it. There was a black indented abnormal looking scab. Instead of it being raised it was almost like it was sucked in. I tried to apply pressure to and see if puss would come out. Nothing... When the scab-like thing came off, it didn t look like a scab. It seems like there is a white spot in it that looks like a whitehead in it. With pressure nothing happens. I start a new job tomorrow and want to make sure I m alright. What do you thing it is? I don t see a hair.
Hi. As per your case history you may be having either folliculitis or an insect bite. In both cases my treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on the affected part. 3. If it is oozing then you can do small dressing on that part with betadine and sterile gauze piece.
