Suggest Remedy For Weak Arms And Twitching Biceps Post Being Hit On Face

I was hit in the face on friday evening and suffered a mild concussion and small fracture in nose. For the last couple days I have had alternating weakness in either arm as well as spasms and biceps twitching. So much it is difficult to hold something without feeling like I may drop it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If I will be treating physician I will take these examination AP and lateral radiographs [these should be done], MRI brain [if already done not to repeat ] as your face hit [as you don't mention exact mechanism of fall]

Give rest [immobilize]. Cold packs. Ibuprofen can be taken. Flexall 454 topical spray can relieve pain [methylsalicylate/menthol]. For psychological issues or stress related with it, you can join online art of living breath, meditation workshop, don't start any medication unless indicated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
