Suggest Remedy For Throat Infections In Tobacco Chewers

hi i have been chewing tobacco since a 5 years i feel i have some kind of infection in my throat and it dosent pains but makes me feel uneasy taking my attention towards it. please suggest me so that i can take care of this thing. should i leave chewing tobacco ? can it cause cancer ? i am worried about it a little so please give me a wise suggestion

This may be a sign of leukoplakia. Leukoplakia is non cancerous lesions usually clear in a few months after quitting tobacco. you can take over the counter nicotine gum to manage tobacco withdrawal symptoms during initial phase of quitting .I advise that you should consult with Dental surgeon /ENT to rule out other causes.
