Suggest Remedy For Tender, Sore And Swollen Labia After Ripping The Skin Off
I recently woke up and the lace on the sides of my panties were stuck to my labia. I didn t realize this until I pulled them down and it felt like it ripped skin off. It is very tender now and sore. I was wondering what I could do to help relieve the pain and help it heal. It feels like a raw patch and is a lil swollen.
The skin of the labia is very sensitive and it needs special care. a few treatment options for the swollen labia with wound are Soframycin ointment to be applied on the sore skin of labia. Tab. Chymoral AP is to be taken twice daily for 3 days. Avoid wearing panty for 3-4 days. Clean it with Savlon in water. If the soreness and pain don't come down, please do consult a gynecologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
