Suggest Remedy For Swollen Throat Due To An Allergic Reaction
My son is has an allergy to peanuts. He has ingested a small amount from a peanut satay cooked on the BBQ with his food accidentally. His throat is swollen and feels like something is stuck in it. It has happened before but I was wanting to know if there was anything to relieve this.
2. I would like to mention here that such throat swelling (angioedema) should not be ignored because if it progresses beyond a certain limit, it can compromise airways and can cause difficulty in breathing. That is the reason it should be treated aggressively.
Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish your son the best of the health.
Thank you & Regards.
