Hi Dear, Welcome to HCM. Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling with pus and pricking sensation on palms . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction , angioedema , scleroderma , abscess or cellulitis . A superficial abscess may develop just under the skin anywhere in the hand and nearly always results from a minor injury, such as a splinter or needle prick. Severe pain, warmth, and redness develop over the abscess, often with swelling of lymph nodes in the armpit . The priking sensation is due to pressing of nerve by swelling . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may examine physically to check the tenderness and consistency or take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe anti bacterial , anti viral or anti allergic like anti histamine along with anti inflammatory . For now apply warm compresses on swelling and maintain hygiene .
