Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Penis And Puncture Marks With Green Heads On Them

My younger brother who just turned four was playing outside and he ended up sitting in an ant pile and the ants crawled up his shorts and bit his penis . When I took him inside to look at it, it seemed fine , but earlier on he was complaining that it was itchy and it hurt . Looking at it again the tip of his penis is all swollen and the puncture marks had green heads on them . I was just wondering what was the best way to go about treating this or if we need to seek medical help ?

Hi...this is insect bite allergy and ant bites have formic acid in it to aggravate the situation. I suggest you use calamine lotion for external application, along with oral ant allergic like Hydroxyziine or Cetrizine. These are prescription medicines and I suggest you seek your physician for a prescription or else use any over the counter antihistamines licensed in your country to be used in this age group.
