Hi,

It looks like you had infective diarrhoea, the natural mechanism of the body is to wash that toxin hence causing loose motions. Usually, the body clears the toxin by itself and the pain subsides by itself in a few days.

We usually do not prescribe anything for pain in infective diarrhoea, allowing the body to clear the bacteria by itself. But if the pain is severe you may take antispasmodics like mebeverine for pain relief.

However, always consult your doctor before taking any medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
