about a week ago I noticed the scalp on left side was sore. As time went on it is almost impossible to touch it. Cant even wear a hat now cause it hurts when something touches ie. Feels like its brused. Also have terrible headaches with it. pain is nearly always there but sometimes it is just a dull pain than all of a sudden its like a lightning bolt struck in my head.pain is also in my left ear.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Do you have scaling or dandruff on scalp? Is there any redness? In that case it can be seborrheic dermatitis or scalp psoriasis. For that using lotion based on salicylic acid and corticosteroids like clobetasol for local application will be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
