Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat With White Bumps

I've had a sore throat for the last4 days. it has switched sides. Now it only hurts (pretty badly) after I've laid down to go to sleep. A gargle rinse has not helped it at night, only during the day while I am upright. The back of my throat is very red, but no white bumps. I couldn't sleep very long the last few nights.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems to be a throat infection and can be bacterial or viral in nature..
The redness of tonsils is due to inflammation of tonsils leading to Tonsillitis and it is secondary to infection..
You can take a short course of antibiotics like Levofloxacin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen,do warm saline gargles and do steam inhalations..
Use a cool mist humidifier at night to relieve the throat..
You can also gargle with a numbing mouthwash to relieve pain..
Avoid spicy and hard foods and also chilled foods and fluids..
Sip on plenty of warm water throughout the day..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
