General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, he will be needing continuous follow up with his Psychiatrist and sometimes sleep medicine may be added and sometimes to avoid dependence may needs to be withdrawn. But if sleep deprivation is the key issue he may needs to be put on benzodiazapines after psychiatric review.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
