Suggest Remedy For Sleeplessness And Anxiety While On Diphenhydramine And Melatonin
Just a quick question ... been having sleep problems lately, (Not sleeping through the night) & have had some night anxiety. I normally take 2 - 25mg of Diphenhydramine HCL & Melatonin before going to bed and since I have a Big day tomorrow and need sleep, was wondering if also taking .25mg of Clonaazepam would be OK?

Klonapin/clonazepam is not indicated as a sleeping medication because it lasts 8 hrs. It frequently is still there in the morning and during the night it suppresses the dream state and does not allow for natural sleep. Daytime function is often impaired by it. It doesn't have huge interactions with eiuther diphenhydramine nor melatonin, but will produce side effects and lower alertness the next day all by itself.
