Suggest Remedy For Sharp Pain In The Eyes

hi, i have been on nights for the last 2 weeks and last week i noticed after my 2nd night last week i had a very red blood shot eye (right) and was experience some pain behind the eyes, it seemed to clear up over the weekend however i do still have a red like vein looking thing left in my right eye and i am experiencing quite a lot of sharp pains behind both eyes now, is this down to lack of sleep being on nights and nothing to worry about? if so can i home treat it?

Hello there,
According to what you have described its more likely your experiencing this discomfort due to strain/lack of sleep. However lack of sleep can produce only burning sensation, slight redness but donot usualy produce pain so are you sure your having sharp pain or is it discomfort/burning sensation ? also do you have a stress full work schedule?
All these do matter before coming to a conclusion.

Thankyou.
