Suggest Remedy For Severe Swelling Caused By Mosquito Bite
Hello. I was bitten by a mosquito yesterday on my hand. The hand is now swollen to twice the size. I usually react badly to mosquito bites but never swelling to this extent before. Is there an over the counter remedy I should try? Or should I get it seen to in case it's infected? Thanks!
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having poisonous insect bite producing severe allergic reaction. Take tablet Cetrizine or Benmadryl for 2-3 days. Apply ice pack on affected part. If require go for one antibiotic medicine course if your doctor suspects super added bacterial infection. Ok and take care.
