In September I was diagnosed with 2 stress fractures 3rd and 4th metatarsals. I wore the tall boot for 8 weeks. I waited another 6 weeks to start working out on the treadmill again. About a week into my workouts, I started my foot started hurting in the exact same place. Some swelling into the bottoms of my toes. I put the boot back on, but have severe pain whenever i step on the ball of my foot that radiates down the pinky side of my foot, all the way to my ankle.
I have a Dr appt scheduled for next Wednesday but I am not sure what I should do until then. Should I put my boot back on? Should I use crutches? I don't want to do any more damage than I already did.
