Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Tailbone Due To Ligament Tear

I had a tailbone ligament tear around 6 years back. I was fine after some treatment and physiotherapy but sometimes could feel a jerk. However, that wasn t a major issue. Recently I have started driving a two-wheeler and have experienced the pain come back. Should I avoid driving a two-wheeler?

Hi,Thanks for your query,After going through your query I came to know that you are suffered from coccyxdynia (tail bone pain) 6 year back.It was relieved by some treatment and physiotherapy.Recently you started driving two wheeler and got same pain again.In my opinion you should avoid driving two wheeler because due to trauma to coccyx (tail bone) by it leads to again same problem.
Its treatments is by sitting in a bath tab full of warm water naked exposing coccyx area for 10 minutes in morning and 10 minutes in the evening.Since sitting on the affected area may aggravate the condition, a cushion with a cutout at the back under the coccyx is recommended. Analgesic such as diclofenac is taken for pain relief.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
