Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Neck And Shoulder Due To Misplaced Discs

Excruciating pain in neck and shoulder - left hand side - burning sensation. Third time it has occurred. Pain is so severe feel like crying. Only position comfortable is putting my hands to my shoulders and staying in that position. I have been on ibrufin cream and strong co-odimal - prescription only. Do you think is long term computer usage. My Doctor said it is damaged nerves and misplaced discs. Will never go away but will erupt at times. The pain is unbearable.

Hi,

Disc problem is very painful.I have seen cases with these problems. But recently, few patients I had sent to physiotherapy and they have been told to go for swimming which improved their condition. I suggest you to meet a physiotherapist and ask for the possible swimming option.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rohit S. Menon, Dentist
