Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!
Considering your symptoms, I would recommend performing a lumbar spine CT scan to exclude a possible disc herniation. It is necessary to investigate for the possible causes underlying peroneal nerve palsy (trauma, disc herniation, metabolic disorders, etc.).
A nerve conduction study is necessary too.
Meanwhile, I recommend taking gabapentine or pregabaline for the pain control.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
