I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.
All her symptoms show that she is experiencing a cold that is caused by a seasonal virus. Virus has caused an upper respiratory tract bacterial infection. Except the infection another possibility is that she may suffer from an allergic rhinitis.
To treat runny nose Flixonase is recommended. Antibiotic therapy is necessary if flu last for more than 5 days.
To confirm the diagnosis these tests are necessary: 1. Chest X-ray. 2. Complete blood count. 3. Urine test. 4. Physical examination by your physician.
Take Care. Dr. Behar.
