Suggest Remedy For Red Pimples
on face a small pimple turned into a larger pimple, which shrunk and left a big red splotch that seems to be bigger than the pimple was at it's biggest, with the pimple very small in the middle. There much less pain while touching it now that it's smaller, but its still very red.

If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested that you use a topical antiacne gel e.g clindamycin 1% gel or benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel over it.
An Oral antibiotic is also advisable since you seem to have inflammatory acne, either doxycycline or Azithromycin would be good enough.
For any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that remains at the site of acne, it can be managed with topical skin lightening creams like kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid etc.
