Hi,

Continue hot fomentation. Consult your doctor for examination. Get started on antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller properties. Local application of povidone iodine. Incision and drainage if abscess has already developed. Get blood sugars done to know about diabetes status. Complete the treatment till cured. May need definitive surgery if the cyst reappears.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
