Hi,

First of all, your father should measure his blood pressure regularly and if it were high, he should receive medical treatment, decrease salt and fat intake, do kidney function test, lipid profile, an ECG and an ECHO. Second, he should take vitamin B complex once per day after meals and Benfotiamine 40 mg, besides taking aspirin 160 mg. Third, he should use a device to help walk for 3-6 months until his muscles restore their strength. He should use the device every day to avoid muscle atrophy. In the beginning, he could find it difficult, but you should encourage him to continue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
