Suggest Remedy For Persistent Rectal Itching With External Hemroid

Hi ive had an external hemroid for about two months nw .Went by a dotctor prescribed some anibiotics an proto gycerol did not work went by the phamacist precribed predeselone and zinco oxide an camamil oil for the itchin did not work itching around the anus has become unbearable .Right now im on daflon prescribed for a week .not sure what else to do to help at timr the hemroid becomes inflammed an hirts an then subsides bu still there but the itvhin is always there any help will be appreciated.

Hello,

When external hemorrhoids are being inflamed, it's normal they will hurt. That's why we recommend antibiotics, and local anti-hemorrhoid treatment to reduce inflammation, and ease the pain. When hemorrhoids are lacerated, the mucosa is damaged during inflammation phase. This is followed by regeneration stage, which comes with itching.

Again, shrinking hemorrhoids with Daflon will reduce their size, and local treatment will ease itching. However, I would recommend to continue taking the treatment as prescribed by your doctor. Plus, should follow a strict diet to help your bowels functioning normally with no constipation issues. Altogether, they will ease your symptoms. Keep regular follow up with your doctor.
