Suggest Remedy For Patch Of Itchy Rash On Mouth And Face
I have an itchy patchy rash on the side of my mouth on my face. I had if for 2 weeks then it went away for a day and has returned. I have never had this before and it is not chapped lips. The lips are redder than ever. I have been applying an anti fungal and vaseline on my lips, thinking it was angular chelitis but now am trying cortisone for the inflammation. I also have purchased a Vitamin B complex. Should i be doing anything else? I

As per your query you have chapped lips and rashes on mouth and face . The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as angular cheilitis as you mention in query . Angular cheilitis is a common inflammatory condition affecting the corners of the mouth or oral commissures . There can be many reasons for angular chilitis . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination and rule ou causes like allergic reaction , bacterial infection and other underlying condition. Do not use creams like cortisone and anti fungal cream by your own as they are prescribed medicines .Protect your face from excessive sun exposure , hydrate yourself and keep applying vaseline .
