Suggest Remedy For Painful Penis During Contraction And Post Urination

Hi.. I am 29 years old. From past few days there is pain at the tip of penis, what happens is that the skin at the tip contracts and when I wear brief...it touches the tip and I feel pain and even after urination,,,there would be few drops left.. Is this serious? Is this because of lack of water in body?...is there any medication for that.

Hello,

Pain at the start of urination is often the symptom of a urinary tract infection. Pain after urination can indicate a problem with the bladder or prostate.

For many male patients, pain can persist in the penis before and after urination, too. Symptoms for female patients can be internal or external.

Therefore I suggest consulting an urologist for physical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand
