Suggest Remedy For Pain In Knee Joint

I ve had dvt for seven years if fumerel artery, my knee joint has been bothering me for a couple of months, feels like I twisted it. Called my GP and he ordered a dopplar which showed acute dvt in upper thigh. He thinks my knee problem is from dvt, it is swollen about 3/4 inch. My question is could dvt cause this twisted feeling? It is somewhat painful if I m walking and turn a corner too fast where I m pivoting my knee.

It's possible the knee pain is from the DVT, but you could also have a separate problem with the knee joint. The fact that you have had the knee pain for a couple of months suggests a primary problem with the joint, particularly if you recall a specific injury before it started. However, first the DVT needs to be treated. If you are still having problems with knee pain, it might be best to see an orthopedic specialist and possibly get an MRI of the knee to see if something is going on in the joint. Hope this helps.
