Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Ive been having numbness in my hands. It usually starts with my middle finger though, and it lasts for a while. I am a stay at home mother and do not have to be doing anything and it will go numb. Ive use to work as a customer service rep (for 4 yrs and havent worked in over a year) and I used the computer 8-10 hrs a day but other than that I dont do anything continously with my hands. What could this be??
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
