Suggest Remedy For Lymphocytic Colitis

My son, who is 54, has been diagnosed with symphicitic colitis which took many tests to determine and now the Dr. has prescribed budesonide which is generic for entocort BC. he has very watery stools and goes as many times as 4-5 times daily and also cramps. Do you think this medicine is the right thing for him and how long will it be before I see improvement. Thank you Betty Ackerman

Noted the history related to your son who is 54 years old and has watery diarrhea lymphocytic colitis and prescribed budesonide.
Yes this is the correct medicine as there is no sure shot treatment of such colitis. Hence the need of steroids which acts by reducing the inflammation.
At the same time remember few most important thing.
To take multivitamins, therapeutic dosages of Vitamins A and D,
To avoid all the foods and beverages that increase his problems.
Try the foods and beverages that suit him the most.
Activated charcoal, banana, curds help to an extent.
