Suggest Remedy For Large, Constant Draining Keloid On Back Of Scalp Causing Hair Loss
i have been to many doctors/dermatologists regarding my scalp condition. I have a large keloid on the back of my scalp and it continues to get worse coupled with the fact that I ve lost a lot of hair; in addition the keloid drains constantly; is there any hope to get this condition solved?

Thanks for writing to us.
It seems you could be having acne keloidalis nuchae.
As its draining, chances are its infected. A course of oral and topical antibiotic should help treat infection. Later on to help the keloid flatten, intralesional steroid injections along with cryotherapy should be done. With fortnightly injections, it should resolve however do not expect hair growth in affected area.
