THIS IS GEETA
Hi Geeta I am curious to know even the results of your free T3 and free T4, in this moment that you have 2 months with Thyronorm 50 mcg ,So i can understand the situation of your actual thyroid function and if the dose of thyronorm is enough. Anyway your TSH is slighty high this means that you have a subclinical hypothyroidism. For some people, hypothyroidism can contribute to joint and muscle problems. But your TSH values are not so high to have a significant role for the symptoms of pain and foot swell. The problem of pain in backbone and knees and the swelling in your foot in my opinion are due to a rheumatological problem so i suggest to meet a rheumatologist in your area. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health. Dr. Elona
