Hello,

Since you have history of having scabies infection and have been treated and now you are experiencing symptoms again. You are suggested to wash all your clothes and beddings in hot water frequently. Do not share your toiletries with anyone. If sexually active, avoid sex for a couple of days.

You can apply lotion Ascabiol to the areas affected, keep it for 35-45 minutes and then take a shower. The infection is likely to go away but may leave scars. The scars will go away in a short while. No worries.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
