Suggest Remedy For Infection In Nose Causing Bad Odor

Hi. I ve had an infection up my nose 4 approx 10 days. The smell is awful. I m taking amoxicillin 500 3 x a day and also applying naseptin cream. Can I also apply tcp as this helps with the smell ,also its my last day of antibiotics tomorrow, will I be able to ring for a repeat prescription for the tablets as the smell hasn t quite gone yet. Understanding your concern. As per your query you have infection in nose causing bad odor . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , nasal polyp , allergic rhinitis or post nasal drip . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , nasal endoscopy along with throat swab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for nerve dysfunction .
