Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I popped what appeared to be a pimple on my penis it got infected indefinitely within the first two days. so on the fourth day (today) I put hydrogen peroxide on it and it hurt for a second so Instantly put a wet cloth on it. It doesn t hurt right now and it looks a little better but It feels weird and I don t know how to proceed
I share your concerns. You need to take a course of antibiotic(amocacillin 500 mg three times a day for three days) and pain killer(ibuprofen 600mg twice a day). Use antibiotic ointment too for application on boil. Morever keep it clean by soap. Hydrogen peroxide is not required. Avoid sexual activities till it heals. You will be fine in three days.
If still persists go for swab culture and sensitivity for antibiotics. Meet a general practitioner.
I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write for follow up questions. I wish you rapid recovery. Please write a feedback. Thanks
