Suggest Remedy For High SGPT And SGOT Levels

My wife s SGPT and SGOT is v. high 250 and 308 respectively. She has gallstones 16 mm, serum bilirubin total is 5.27, direct is 3.17, indirect is 2.1 sometimes she takes very oily food. what are the precautions ? Doctor suggested that she has jaundice and should take Ciproflaxacin 500mg 2 times + supradyn + laxday regards Brajesh

I really appreciate your concern for your wife, given report could be suggestive of obstructive jaundice chances of "cholecystitis" is likely if this is so then antibiotic is necessary, else giving antibiotic wont wok here, further management of this case may required, if the obstruction remains as it is then you need to have opinion from gastroenterologist, hope this information helps, take care. (High value of SGPT suggestive of parenchymal cell inflammatory changes of liver )
