Suggest Remedy For High ESR Level While Suffering From Liver Abscess
Hello doctor my father is suffering from liver abscess and it has been aspirated recently, But TLC keeps on increasing and ESR rate is also high TLC - 17500 ESR- 60 kft 37 everything else is normal doctors are telling it as normal but what would you suggest pls help i am really tensed thank you
Its common with liver abscess to have raised ESR and total leukocyte count to be on higher side. IF it has been aspirated then I suggest you to wait for the cultures and continue with the current treatment regimen. I also suggest you to do a repeat imaging to see if its not accumulated again in the liver that might be leading to high infectious markers.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
