Hi, about 3 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. I took 4 pregnancy tests and they all came back positive. At first we wanted to keep the baby but within a few days reality kicked in and we decided to get an early abortion. They gave me an stomach ultrasound and said they could not tell I was pregnant. So they had to give me a transvaginal ultrasound to actually see I was pregnant. They told me I was 2 and a half weeks pregnant, very early. I let the doctor know that I have a blood clotting disease, Factor 5 leiden mutation, history of strokes and seizures, and I am on a blood thinner coumadin for 8 years now and will be for the rest of my life. I was concerned that this would interfere the doctor reassured me it would be fine, just like a bad period. But within hours I was in excruciating pain, bleeding thru huge maxi pads every half hour, and could not get out of bed for 3 days because the pain and bleeding was so severe. They prescribed me Codine which did not help in the least bit. And whenever I called the doctor to see if this was okay they reassured me it was normal I would be fine. But when I researched other peoples early abortion stories everyone seemed to only have pain for a few hours and it wasn t that bad. Then I saw that if you re on coumadin or have a blood disorder you re not allowed to take the early abortion pill in the first place. Now I m really pissed the doctor knew of my conditions and gave it to me anyway. By the time I went in for the follow up ultrasound I had stopped bleeding for 5days. The doctor asked how everything went and I described my pain and he didn t say a word. He just looked at me. He did a quick ultrasound said I was good to go and I would get my period in 4 weeks. I asked him if he could do a transvaginal ultrasound to make sure everything was okay since they had to do that last time to even see that I was pregnant and he said no I would be fine. After not bleeding for nearly a week it suddenly came back heavier than ever with all the same pain. Bleeding thru tampons every 10mins. Bleeding heavy for another 4 days then this morning as I was getting ready for work I looked down to see blood pouring down my legs all the way to my ankles and on the floor. As I was cleaning myself the blood was becoming so much it started dripping down my arms and was all over my hands. It looked like someone was murdered. I was immediately scared to death and decided maybe I should go to the hospital. I called the doctor up and told them what was going on. They said to come back anytime before 1 the next day to see the doctor. At this point I hate this doctor I think he is terrible and carwrong on the matter of my blood disorder and the condition of my health before the medical abortion. He was not supposed to give me the abortion pill but he did anyway. Now its a few hours later and he cramping is terrible, I am weak, lethargic, I have no energy.. I ve been a vegetarian for 7 years and I m craving meat because I m losing so much blood. This is not like me at all. I know something had to have went wrong. The bleeding is not as heavy now but I don t know if I should just go to the ER at this point. I want a 2nd opinion. Someone please advise me on what to do?!
