Suggest Remedy For Extreme Sweating With Severe Cough?

Hi dr Rinne My name is Iggy I am 69 year male and for past 2 weeks i am sweating and coifing yesterday went to see family dr an he give me budesonide inhaler and Aclavulanate pills totake 3 times a day he also said that i maybe have some water on the lungs send me for exe ray and told me to come back in one week time. I am little not sore if that gone continue like that for another week how much worse gone be Do you haw any advice for me my name is Iggy?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since you are old age (age more than 65), I advice you to rule out cardiac and respiratory causes for your symptoms.
Congestive heart failure (CCF) can cause fluid in the lungs with coughing and sweating.
Bronchitis also cause similar symptoms.
So better to consult doctor and get done
1. ECG
2. 2D Echo
To rule out cardiac cause like CCF.
If both are normal than get done chest x ray and PFT (pulmonary function test) to rule out bronchitis.
So consult doctor and discuss all these.
Don't start treatment empirically, first diagnose yourself and than start treatment accordingly.
