Suggest Remedy For Elevated ESR Count And Sinusitis

Hi
I am having cold and cough from last 3 month ,ESR is High and In City scan Sinusitis is showing ,I was on anti allergic medication from 3 months the doc prescribe me defcort and antibiotics it recoverd me 100% but after 20 days its reoccure and now doctor agin prescribed me prednisalone and Montair for 4 days .

please advise

hi you have sinusitis and that is secondary to allergic rhinitis.
you should repeat the CT Scan of paranasal sinuses after the course of defcort and antibiotics, that will tell exactly how much is your sinus is affected. If it shows still block in the sinus openings, polyp in the sinuses then you need a surgery to evacuate the polypoidal mucosa from the sinuses so that the sinus ventilation will increase. Having said that, the allergy wont leave you, you can only decrease its concentration and keep in under control by taking regular medicines.
Dont worry about Raised ESR, any allergic episode will increase the ESR.
You need to consult your ENT doc again with a fresh CT.
