Suggest Remedy For Ear Problem

I HAVE HAD A SEPTUM BUTTON INSERTED INTO MY NOSE , BUT NOW 6 WKS LATER I CANNONT HERE VERY WELL AND HAVE BEEN TOLD I HAVE A LARGE PERFERATION IN MY RIGHT EAR ? CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW THIS HAS HAPPENED WHEN IVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL BEFORE MY SURGERY ON MY NOSE ? BEEN TOLD I NEED ANOTHA OPERATION , HOW SUCCESFUL IS IT , I AM 53 , WILL IT GET WORSE IF I DONT HAVE OPERATION ?

Hello,

There is no relation between the surgery of your nose and the ear perforation. The ear perforation could be caused by a chronic or acute infection in the ear, not related to the surgery. I think that surgery will repair your eardrum and help improve your hearing.
