Suggest Remedy For Delayed Periods After Medication For Prolonged Periods

My daughter, 25 has been experiencing prolonged periods with spotting before & after her normal dates, lasting upto 10-12 days since November,2016. The gynecologist prescribed Deviry-10 twice/day for 7 days, that she took from 9th-15th February. Till date her periods have not started. Please advise.

Hi,

Actually, Deviry 10 taken in the prescribed dosage for 7 days & stopped thereafter... mostly causes withdrawal bleeding within 8-10 days (when normal hormonal cycle is a five in causing periods).

The absence of such bleeding indicates some other cause for the bleeding (like thyroid problem, pituitary gland problem some chronic debilitating diseases, severe anemia) & needs to be investigated in detail to find the cause followed by specific treatment. Please consult a gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
