Suggest Remedy For Darkened Areas Around Tailbone Area
Hello Dr Prased, Thank you for your time…I have a history of excema on my hands but nowhere else. I have had shingles on my back once but have had the shingles vaccine no further problems. Recently I received the new pneumonia 2 vaccine may or not be important but I now have darkened areas around my tailbone area. Not necessarily raised but one or two small areas. Not painful or bleeding or anything. Does this sound like psoriasis? I have been applying derma e creme with some moderate success. What do you think? Thank you. Gloria
My Dear Gloria I am not Dr Prasad, but I will try to help you out of your problem.Your description does not match that of psoriasis and has nothing to do with the vaccinations nor does it seem related to eczema. Most likely it could be that some skin lesions was present on the spot which has since healed. Just relax and keep on observing the area. if possible, take a pic of the same and compare that with other pics that you capture later on. In case of any symptoms, do not hesitate to contact with recent picture and other details. All the best
